During rhododendron bloom at the Botanical Garden of University of Latvia. Inspiring spring time beauty invites to catch the first warm sun rays and enjoy time under trees and shrubs that are eager to show off their fresh colours after sleepy and peaceful wintertime. Riga city parks and gardens are the perfect place for sketching and painting to receive insights from nature.
Fun illustration and painting series for my 2nd book in series "Adventures of Merry and Messenger" . It is an ongoing project that started during world around travel. Illustrations of the first book had been created in specific spots and carry the energy in each page spread.
All paintings by Evita Kristapsone are the messages from her soul. While painting, she tunes into the energy of individuals, animals, the special places, and receives her spiritual insights and messages in her meditations.
She enjoys using the different art techniques to express the joy and happy feeling of existance through bright, vivid and dyinamic colour palette yet considers herself as intuitive artist that follows the movement and flow of the current moment. Tai Chi moving art is companion of hers during the artistic experiences.
She paints the energy pictures upon requests or commissions for special occasions. Her artwork makes the very special gift for loved ones and friends.
